The Angel Venture Fair (AVF), taking place from 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Friday, December 13th, at the Union League, brings together the largest gathering of angel investors and entrepreneurs in the Mid-Atlantic region. Over the past 28 years, the AVF has showcased more than 2,500 companies.
The program is a true community effort from start to finish. Every angel group in the Mid-Atlantic region receives information about the AVF and encourages its members to attend and scout the fair. Applications are reviewed by 80 judges, comprising angel investors and conduits to angels. From hundreds of applicants, 34 fortunate entrepreneurs are selected to showcase their new ventures on the day of the fair.
This year will be unlike any other in our history as we are changing our presentation model. All the companies will deliver 5-minute presentations in the main ballroom, ensuring that all investors hear their pitches. In the afternoon, investors will have the opportunity to mix and mingle with the entrepreneurs. Our goal is to spark meaningful conversations and give entrepreneurs maximum exposure to investors.
Please note The Union League has a strictly enforced dress code policy requiring formal business attire. Entry to the building will not be permitted for those dressed otherwise.
